We’re working with friends to plan events and find exciting ways to use the farm, the buildings and the beauty of the land as a living lab for innovation.

Our innovation lodge is next door to the existing UMVA lodge, with the same breath-taking views over Lake Muhazi.
In January, 2025 we put out a call on social media for names. Sofia Cozzolino suggested the name Isano Lodge. Isano means ‘connection’ or ‘relations’ in Kinyarwanda. We think it perfectly embodies the spirit of the continent of Africa, innovation and the promise of a bright future. We hope you agree.
