Our partnership is formed through a shared passion for ideas, connection and Rwanda. It’s the spark behind everything we’re building.

Our innovation lodge is being built alongside the existing UMVA lodge, with the same breath-taking views over Lake Muhazi.

In January, 2025 we put out a call on social media for names. Sofia Cozzolino suggested the name Isano Lodge. Isano means ‘connection’ or ‘relations’ in Kinyarwanda. We think it perfectly embodies the spirit of the continent of Africa, innovation and the promise of a bright future. We hope you agree.
